All we know about Yoga is that it is a sacred path on which one can get a higher state of consciousness. Kundal means in Sanskrit is a coil, and there is a power which name is “Kundalini” present in a dormant state in our bottom of the spine in the Muladhara chakra, it is like a three and a half coiled serpent.

For common people, it is hard to control their senses which distract them easily, and also because they bound by the bond of their relationship which doesn’t allow them for this intense practice of Kundalini yoga.

To begin the practice and to understand the knowledge of Kundalini one should know about the basics of some Asanas, Pranayama, and Meditation which help to make the path clear.

The Kundalini is present in our Muladhara chakra so we need to activate the flow to energy there.

There are various kinds of Yogic practice such as the practice of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation), which helps to generate the heat in the body, and focusing on the Muladhara chakra during practice helps to ignite the power of kundalini.

Heat providing Kriyas such as Bhastrika Pranayama (also known as Breathe of Fire), Agnisara Kriya, and Cobra Pose, etc. help to activate the power of “Kundalini”.

The practice of Meditation with Mantra put a major effect on awakening the kundalini. To activate the power of any chakra it inscribed with “bija mantra” or seed “Mantra” and the mantra of activating the Muladhara is “lam“.

Meditation with the mantra builds up the concentration level of the practitioner and stable the mind.

The one who has High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease, Asthma, Hernia, and Stomach Disease are not recommended for these practices, consult your Doctor or well-experienced Yoga teacher.
